Second year plays are go!

Our season of plays got off to a flying start on Thursday with Sophocles’ ANTIGONE by the second year Acting students. To say the staff and senior management were thrilled would be an understatement. Such an achievement, and a demonstration of real promise as the students continue on with their training here towards becoming professional Actors.

ANTIGONE was followed by Godber’s BOUNCERS SHAKERS today, with students from the second year Musical Theatre course flexing their straight acting muscles. We are excited to be presenting these shows at the lovely Pleasance Theatre, and if you’ve missed either of these two then fret not – there’s one more to come!

Saturday sees Brecht’s CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE on stage, performed by second year Musical Theatre students, and tickets are still available! Order online at the MGA Shop or buy on the door. Showtimes are 2.30pm and 7.30pm, so there’s two opportunities left to catch some great quality drama from our fantastic second year students.
