Happy New Year from all at MGA!

As we head into January, and with a group of our Full-Time students New York bound at this very moment, we want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Here’s hoping that 2017 will bring even more success and magical moments for our fabulous students in both the Full-time and Junior Schools here in Edinburgh.

Goodbye 2016…

A quick look back at some memorable events from the last few months at MGA:

We had a fantastic turn out to our Macmillan Coffee morning and raised a whopping £678.50 for the cancer support charity, and huge thanks to all the students, staff, family and friends for all their beautiful baking in the first place!

While our students were settling down to a new term of classes and productions, MGA Creative Director Murray Grant was off touring Scotland to spread the word about our Dance Course! And he certainly got around – take a look at the video below to see what he got up to. A huge THANK YOU to each and every school and teacher who welcomed Murray during the tour. Would you like us to visit again? Or did your school miss out this time round? Call us and arrange a free workshop for 2017!

And 2016 came to a close with the full student body joining together for our annual Christmas Musical Theatre extravaganza at the gorgeous Usher Hall for A Christmas Wish. We were thrilled to again support Barnardos Scotland whilst bringing some much-needed Christmas Cheer to our wonderful home of Edinburgh! It was our biggest show yet and the students and staff did MGA proud.

And hello 2017!

As we look forward into the New Year, we wish a BON VOYAGE to our students heading to New York – they’ve just set off over the Atlantic for the annual MGA trip to the Big Apple, where they’ll get a taste of life on Broadway, both on and off the stage (all the highlights and updates can be found on our Facebook page). And we are thrilled that, for the first time ever, we will be taking a group of students to Los Angeles this year, for our first ever Dance trip!! Students can book a place now and take the trip of a life time to the Dance capital of the States in October 2017.
